Community Guidelines

Pouncd is a room for people who do the work. These guidelines keep it worth being in.

Be locked in

Share real progress, real problems, and real lessons. Show up for others the way you want them to show up for you.

Be respectful

Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, or sexual content. No discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.

Be honest

Use your real name and represent yourself, your company, and your numbers accurately. Investors: don't claim accreditation or a fund you don't have.

No spam, no scams

No cold pitching in every thread, no affiliate links, no “DM me for the opportunity”, no get-rich-quick schemes. Use the pitch board for pitches.

Respect the intro

Investor interest is a request, not an obligation. Founders can accept or decline. Don't pressure, chase, or share private conversations outside Pouncd.

Reporting

Report a post, message, or member by emailing hello@pouncd.co with a link or screenshot. Reports are confidential.

Moderation and bans

A person reviews reports. Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, warn, temporarily suspend, or permanently ban, and serious cases can skip straight to a ban. Paid fees aren't refunded for bans caused by breaking these rules. To appeal, email hello@pouncd.co within 14 days.
