Content & IP Policy for Pitches
Last updated November 1, 2026
You keep ownership
Founders keep all ownership of their ideas, pitches, decks, and materials. Pouncd gets only a limited license to store and display them to the audience you choose, so the service can work. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from routine backups that expire.
No NDA is implied
Posting a pitch or sharing a deck on Pouncd does not create a non-disclosure agreement or any confidentiality duty between you and Pouncd, investors, or other members. Investors commonly don't sign NDAs. If you need one, arrange it directly before sharing.
Share what you can share
- Don't post trade secrets, unfiled patent details, or anything you'd be hurt to see repeated.
- Don't post confidential information belonging to an employer, client, or anyone else you're not allowed to share.
- Don't post other people's personal data or copyrighted material without permission.
Visibility
Pitches are visible to verified investors. Decks and contact details unlock only after you accept an investor's interest. You control what you post and can edit or delete it anytime.
Ideas are not protected by Pouncd
Others on Pouncd may work on similar ideas. Pouncd can't prevent that and isn't responsible for disputes between users over ideas. Copyright problems: see the DMCA Policy.
